how quickly 4 slow days go by.

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Was feeling like its been ages since my last post. And in some ways it has been. I made it home last Friday (the 24th) after a whirlwind couple of days of getting last minute departure details taken care of in Manila, spending the last few moments with my Aunt and Uncle (with little nuggets [...]

Spent the last few days in Cebu, with family and no real Internet connection…
it was fun catching up, snapping photos and simply relaxing in one of my most favorite places in the world…
Ill post photos of some of the things I’ve captured in the next few days.

Spent the last couple of days in Manila, unwinding and stopping before a few days in Cebu.
Its still hot, and I’ve been sweating a bunch- but its good for now since I will probably be wishing for some warmth once I am back home…
Looking forward to putting on a few layers of clothes and cozying up [...]

of the full moon.
The last night in Bangkok and we end up ringside at the thai fights. There was something incredible about witnessing Thailand’s national sport. Something very mesmerizing about how betting is illegal here but everyone was doing it anyway… something melodius about the crowds cheering in unision the deeper they got into the [...]

Saturday, October 11th, 2008

Like anything that we feel familiar with, the challenges of seeing those sights differently exist…
One [...]

Spent the day travelling form Boracay to Bangkok with a short stay in Manila to visit my Aunt and Uncle.
we’re in Bangkok on Kho San road, where the backpacker life is prevalent and the craziness of travelers surround us.
Have got several things I’ve been wanting to write about but being on the go has taken [...]

moving to slow down…

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

Spent a couple of days in Manila to rendezvous with Mark, Amy and Lisa- and we had a good time running around the city sponging on the visuals and crazy chaotic differences.
It is fun to watch the 3 of them discover and go thru the gamut of emotions that the sights bring. It is overwhelming, [...]
