Greetings from DC, where it is the early hours of a new day and the 3 hour time difference has got me still functioning in PST. I hear its supposed to snow again back home so its nice to be here where I can stand outside in a short sleeve shirt and feel comfortable…

Last night the snow was coming down like mad in Tacoma. And while driving home from work southbound on I5, my car hit a patch of ice, and my car started fishtailing. The car went from me facing one direction, then facing the exact opposite direction before sliding into the central median. My bumper ended up slightly compacted against the driver side tire.
   I [...]

volume 2 and an update.

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006

yesterday, my friend Lauren asked me for an update on the rainfall in Washington. She is travelling down in San Diego and wanted to rub it in that it was close to 80 degrees when she went out for a run.
Yeah, whatever.
It’s still raining, we broke the record (11.6+ inches and still counting) and apparently its [...]

creative possibilities…

Upgraded my camera to a Canon EOS 20D, which I received last week. It’s a fun little ditty, got a couple of decent lenses, but honestly I haven’t had a real opportunity to shoot much. I think… and eventually, I create…

Saturday, November 18th, 2006

Over the last week I’ve been realizing the amount of pressure I have been putting on myself to create. I felt as my idea machine was generating, but when it came to the actual implementation of those ideas- I wasn’t doing much.
So I decided that the past few days I was just going to relax [...]

I like the idea and I think that simple design resonates with us because of the feeling of familiarity and the lack of complication. These two qualities also enable us to use [...]

3) [...]

a quick pit stop before work.

Just arrived from Bend, Or. where I spent 2 days of pure enjoyment, relaxation, and entertainment. I’ve posted so many times about that town that I’ve decided that I am officially going to call it my 2nd home. The group of friends I have there are a group of authentic, loving, thoughtful, yet completely off the [...]
